Our Team

The Kano State Watershed Erosion and Climate Change Management Agency (KN-WECCMA) is led by the Executive Secretary, supported by a structured team of directorates that drive the agency’s mandate. The Directorate of Administration & General Services ensures efficient internal operations through administrative leadership, accounting, and support units. The Directorate of Engineering & Climate Change oversees technical initiatives focused on climate resilience, while the Directorate of Engineering & Watershed manages field operations and watershed interventions through specialized technical teams. The Directorate of Monitoring & Evaluation strengthens accountability by assessing project performance through dedicated reporting officers. Finally, the Directorate of Planning, Research & Evaluation provides strategic insights through research and analytical units. Together, these teams work collaboratively to promote environmental sustainability, reduce erosion, and enhance community resilience across Kano State.
